The external potential energy recovery system composed of supercapacitors/lithium-ion capacitors and bidirectional DC/DC converters is directly connected in parallel to the DC bus of the frequency converter.
During the energy feedback process, the bidirectional DC/DC converter rapidly charges the supercapacitor, which not only recovers energy but also avoids voltage rise on the DC bus of the inverter.
During the energy consumption process, bidirectional DC/DC converters utilize supercapacitors to rapidly discharge and inject power into the DC bus of the frequency converter, which can reduce the consumption of mains electricity.
